OUr story
Pad Thai KC is a place built on family, flavor, and community. We have been part of Kansas City’s dining landscape for years, sharing the dishes we grew up with and bringing a modern touch to the Thai flavors you love.
Our food is rooted in tradition, filled with bold curries, comforting noodles, bright herbs, and a balance of sweet, savory, and spice. At the same time, we are inspired by the people around us and the way Kansas City eats today. Whether you are here for a quick lunch, a cozy dinner, or planning a celebration with catering, Pad Thai is all about bringing people together through good food and warm hospitality.
From our kitchen to your table, we are proud to call Kansas City home.It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Meet Ann Riesin
Owner, Pad Thai KC
Ann Riesin has always believed that food tastes better when it brings people together. She grew up surrounded by the flavors of Thai home cooking, with aromas of lemongrass, coconut milk, and fresh herbs filling the kitchen. Every dish was prepared with care, patience, and a sense of togetherness.
When Ann moved to Kansas City, she dreamed of creating a space where those same flavors could be shared with her new community. Pad Thai KC became the heart of that dream. Over the years, Ann has shaped the restaurant with a simple philosophy. Stay true to authentic Thai flavors and present them in a way that feels fresh, modern, and welcoming to everyone.
Ann is known for her warmth, her generosity, and her ability to make guests feel like family. She loves supporting local events, celebrating community stories, and inviting people to enjoy Pad Thai in whatever way feels right for them. A quiet night in, a family gathering, or a catered celebration. She finds joy in all of it.
Today, Ann continues to guide Pad Thai KC with heart, intention, and deep appreciation for the Kansas City community that has supported her from the beginning.
